Simplicity is Key

No matter the season or place, simplicity is key.  It's always a good idea to keep it simple. Simple pieces never go out of style, such as a white, navy or black top. Pieces like the ones we are wearing are easy to pair with other clothing items because you can wear something easy like blue jeans or jazz it up with patterned bag. We all have those days where we just want to be low key and simple pieces are perfect for keeping it casual.

Francesca wore a white top and high waisted blue jeans from Urban Outfitters which she paired with her white Sam Edelman espadrille flats to give a more cohesive look. Ponytails are a must during the summer, while combating with the heat on your way to work, keeping your hair out of the way is key.

Deena wore a blue top from Wyatt with light blue jeans from Urban Outfitters. She paired the simple outfit with her new high top converse and a small patterned Tory Burch cross body bag. Lastly, she wore her black Ray Bans to keep the emphasis on the patterned bag.

Boyfriend Jeans and Printed Dresses

If you couldn't tell... we love to be comfortable. Thats why we tend to wear shift dresses, flowy shorts and boyfriend jeans. We opt for these options because they allow us to feel relaxed while still looking chic and fashionable.

Wouldn't it be terrible to wear something that you felt uncomfortable in, especially when you're at work? Well, in our opinion it would be awful. Work this day was completely tiring but, the fact that we were wearing our comfy clothes made it just a bit easier.

Also, you can never forget to accessorize with some cute sunnies and backpack or small tote ;)

Francesca styled her printed Zara dress with some black gladiators, black sunglasses, her Fendi bag and small gold accents. By adding these different accessories the outfit looks put together and ready for a day at work.

Deena put together her J.Crew boyfriend jeans with a light white tank top while also adding a blazer on top to make the outfit more appropriate for the office. She used her small Prada backpack inorder to store the blazer after work was over... trust us there was no need for the blazer in the sweltering heat of NYC.

Bright Patterns and Neon Accents

Another  day at the office and keeping our fashion game strong. Though summer is coming to an end, bright and neon colours are still in. A great way to incorporate neon's into your everyday apparel is to wear a very neutral outfit and throw in touches of neon like with bracelets or shoes. Patterned shorts are also another way to throw in bright colours into your week of outfits, showing a bolder and more daring side of you.

Francesca wore a navy and white kimono she made herself over a white Brandy Melville tee, paired with Topshop's 'jamie' jeans, neon yellow Superga's and tortoise Ray-ban 'clubmaster's'. She also wore a neon yellow bracelet to tie back in with the neon sneakers.

First Day on the Job

Anybody who starts a job wants to bring their fashion A-game. When going to a new job, especially one that specializes in fashion, you want to show off your own style and keep up with the fashion trends. Jeans are a great way to keep warm in the office and white jeans are a summer essential because they keep you warm, but are still bright and perfect for summer. And pairing them with a white top creates a chic summer outfit that is sure to impress your co-workers. Shift dresses are also a great option for work because their comfortability level is super high and they still look stylish. Finding a great pattern is another way to make the dress your own and there is nothing wrong with pairing the dress with a fashionable pair of booties, even in the summer.

Francesca wore her white Zara jeans and a thin striped Vince long sleeve in the office, but also paired a black hat and sunnies to create a fashion statement!
