Black Friday 2014

Many say Black Friday shopping isn't worth it, but after going shopping for the past 4 years on Black Friday it has become tradition. For those who don't know what Black Friday is, it is  the day after Thanksgiving in which stores have incredible sales, some stores have such great sales that people go cray and get a bit violent. Fortunately, Manhattan doesn't have malls like most states where stores get that crowded or crazy. Both Deena and I woke up at 4 o'clock in the morning to make it to Urban Outfitters by 5AM, after going to Urban we made our way to the Flatiron District, where stores like Bath and Body Works, Anthropologie, Sephora, Madewell, J. Crew, Joe Fresh, Banana Republic, Loft, Zara, C. Wonder, etc. were having Black Friday sales. All in all Black Friday 2014 was a success, I was hoping to get a few sweaters √ , a few holiday candles , and a pair of booties !

Wedge on Wedge

Wedged lace-up's are great because while they add height, they are still fine to wear during the day time. There's an immense amount of styles that wedged lace-up's come in, such as floral or plain black. Depending on the pattern you choose to have your wedges in, you can pair it with a simple white top and blue jean or even a colorful dress- such as in the outfit's that we chose. Wedge's are also great because they are easier on the feet than thin heels, yet they still look fashionable. Wedge's are more comfortable to walk in because both the heel, toe and bridge of the foot are supported and elevated, which makes the shoe more manageable to walk in than a heel.

Deena is wearing Kelsi Dagger Suede Wedges, paired with a tie dye dress from Urban Outfitters. This gave her more height, but allowed her to still be comfortable. And you can't forget the famous Ray-Ban club-master sunglasses that never go out of style.

Gifted Ring

Francesca is wearing floral lace up wedges from Liberty of London x Lord & Taylor with a plain white button down from Urban Outfitters and blue jeans from Topshop to ensure that the focus stays on the shoes. These wedges are true statement piece and you don't want to take the spotlight away from them.
